Crushed By Train, Taking Selfie Proved To Be Deadly For Two 15 Year Old Boys

New Delhi: Selfie Obsession has claimed two more young lives in the national capital on Saturday afternoon. Two 15-year-olds were crushed by the speeding train while posing between the two railway tracks at Anand Vihar railway station. The victims, Yash Kumar, 16, and Shubham, 14, along with five other friends going to the same tuition centre rented a DSLR for a day and chose the spot between the tracks to get themselves clicked. As per the other boys they had decided to get clicked on the tracks because they wanted a frame with approaching train in the background.

They got so involved in taking pictures when the train neared on the same track that they did not notice another train approaching on the other track from the opposite direction. While other boys remained where they were, Yash and Shubham jumped on the tracks fearing that they would get crushed between the two trains. They instantly got hit and scummed to their injuries. They were immediately taken to the nearby hospital where they were declared dead.
