The World has changed, and digitalisation has taken over, with all the cameras, phones and other devices clicking photos and making videos has come handy. But what about those times when things were different and when there were printed photographs like your favourite childhood hairstyle or your adorable picture with your grandma?
We all have those old boxes with albums, which we cherish but we don’t get time to digitalise them because it is not practically possible, or much time-consuming as one might say. Taking a picture of your old photos with your camera gives you bright and crooked results.
Fret not, Google has your back. Google has introduced PhotoScan, a brand new App from Google Photos that scans about any photo free from anywhere without any effort.
According to Google “PhotoScan gets you great looking digital copies in seconds – it detects edges, straightens the image, rotates it to the correct orientation, and removes glare. Scanned photos can be saved in one tap to Google Photos to be organised, searchable, shared, and safely backed up at high quality—for free.”
Better Editing Options
Google understands that after being stored in a box for really long, your photos might have lost their charm, and finding the perfect editing tool might be tough. So Google has three advanced editing tools in Google Photos. You just need to click on the pencil icon and start editing.
The App is making its debut on November 16 across Android, iOS and the web.
