Do you know what is better than a dessert? Well, an instant no-bake dessert.
Every no-bake dessert requires a cookie crust, ‘yes’ they are available in the store but ‘no’ they don’t taste good. Making your homemade oreo cookie crust won’t take you more than 10 to 15 minutes, and it is a perfect base for all your no bake pies. The crust holds up well with the chilled fillings and tastes delicious.
25 whole Oreo cookies, any flavour of your choice.
1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter
- Finely crush Oreo cookies in a food processor. Put whole cookies in the grinder and grind until you get crumbs. Add melted butter and mix until crumbs and butter are well combined.
- Now take a 9 or 10-inch deep pie plate and press crumbs into the bottom and sides. Try to keep crust even from all the sides.
- Refrigerate your homemade oreo cookie crust and chill for at least an hour before adding a pie filling of your choice.
