People having an adrenaline rush must include this heavenly infinity pool with glass bottom in their bucket list. The pool overlooks the Dolomites and is suspended 40 feet above the ground. What makes this pool an ultimate place to dive in is a glass window which gives all the brave swimmers an opportunity to swim and fly at the same time. This 82 feet long infinity pool is a part of the new extension of Hotel Hubertus, a resort for hikers and skiers in South Tyrol, Italy.
According to Dezeen ‘The position of the pool, which floats 12 metres above the ground, at its extreme edge, gives the swimmer the feeling of floating – weightlessly between heaven and earth.’
To make the swimmers have an amazing experience the anthracite sides of the pool are matched with the colour palette of these spectacular views, blurring the boundaries between the pool and nature. The designers said this creates ‘the impression of the water flowing into nothing, disappearing between pool and landscape’.
