All of us will agree that procrastination doesn’t make any sense and yet it is the one thing that we can never let go off. It is in the blood of a procrastinator to wait until the last minute to get things done. Nowadays, it has become more of a mental disorder than a habit. It starts with staring out of the window aimlessly, or Youtube binges and so many other things.
While procrastination feels great at the moment, it leaves the mind with nothing but worry, about the long put off errands, projects or chores. What may seem just harmless at the moment may be a breeding ground for anticipatory anxiety and panic attacks that may come from such avoidance behaviours.
Here is a video by Tim Urban who encourages us to think about what actually happens inside the head of a master procrastinator and about the mysteries of the head.
