Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 66th birthday on September 17th, 2016 and huge celebrations were in order. A Surat based bakery called Atul Bakery prepared a cake that aimed to make its place in Guinness Book of World Record for the world’s tallest pyramid cake. The bakery collaborated with Shakti Foundation, an NGO working for women empowerment in rural and urban areas.
The cake was to honour PM Modi’s efforts for women empowerment and his campaign ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’.
According to ANI, a fascinating 7-foot-tall cake of coco berry flavour was prepared within a period of 48 hours by 20 chefs. The cake, weighing 3750kgs, was reportedly cut by the girls belonging to various tribal areas and distributed amongst them.
