Inspired by cult classic sci-fi film “back to the future” Nike has created self-tying shoes. All you have to do is slip inside the shoe, press the button and *ding* you are ready to walk out of your house. Yes, it’s that’s easy and we are not even lying!
According to Nike’s PR Director Heidi Burgett, these shoes are going to make their place in the market from November 28th and will be available in selected stores in U.S.
Wondering how these shoes work?
As the video from Wired demonstrates, the shoe has a lace engine at the bottom that senses the pressure of your foot. You can adjust the fit from two small plus and minus buttons on the front. All you have to do is charge the shoe for about three hours, and it lasts two weeks.
